L'iconico prototipo “Gamera 1996” del famoso scultore Yuji Sakai è ora disponibile in uno splendido prodotto finito e completamente dipinto, alto circa 32 cm. Questo modello dettagliato si basa sul kit originale in vinile morbido da 20 cm del film Gamera 2: Attack of the Legion del 1996 della Daiei (ora KADOKAWA), che è diventato un amato oggetto da collezione e che ancora oggi affascina i fan.
Ora, 29 anni dopo, questo leggendario modello è stato reimmaginato con materiali e tecniche all'avanguardia, sotto la piena supervisione di Yuji Sakai e del team di modellatori d'élite di Kaiyodo.
Anche la colorazione del modello è stata attentamente supervisionata da Sakai stesso. A differenza dei tradizionali processi di produzione di massa, ogni pezzo è dipinto con la cura e i dettagli di un'opera d'arte artigianale.
